FAQ – Everything you need to know about the Swibeco Card
Your card is ready to use: enter your PIN or use contactless to pay for your purchases.
Check your balance in real time via your personal Swibeco space on the mobile app.
If the amount of your purchase exceeds your balance, you can complete the payment with another method (bank card, Twint or cash).
No, the Swibeco Card is only valid in Switzerland, at points of sale that accept VISA and at program partners.
Immediately block your card via your Swibeco personal space and request a replacement card from your HR department.
If your payment is declined at a merchant that falls within the category covered by your allowance (for example, a bakery for the Lunch allowance), it may be because the merchant is not correctly identified by VISA.
To add the merchant to the list of accepted partners and be able to use your Swibeco Card there in the future, please follow these steps:
- In the list of your transactions in the Swibeco app, find the declined payment with the alert message.
- Click on the «Ask to be whitelisted» button.
- Complete the form in less than a minute.
- Our team will review your request and correctly categorize the merchant.
- You will be notified by e-mail once the merchant accepts the Swibeco Card.
No, it is not possible to use the Swibeco Card on the discounts and benefits platform. However, you can use the following payment methods: Swipoints, credit or debit card, TWINT, or Apple Pay.
