Deletion of Cornèr bank account:

Simplified offboarding policy

  • The blocking date is removed after the employee’s departure, meaning the employee keeps their card for a maximum of 10 years after leaving the company at no cost for the company.

Next steps for your business 

  1. Due to the enhanced capabilities of the Swibeco Card and our card issuer YAPEAL, we have updated our contractual terms. You will receive the updated documents via Zoho Sign, which must be signed and returned to us.
  2. From then on, you can manage all your employee benefits from the Benefits Manager.
  3. Access to the old Lunch Card admin area will be blocked and your balance in your Appendix Corner account will automatically be refunded to the account indicated in appendix 3 of your old contract.
  4. Once the transition is complete, you will load your employees’ meal allowance onto the Swibeco Cards via the Benefits Manager. The cards will be replaced at no cost to your company.

Next steps for your employees

  1. Your employees will receive an email invitation to order their new Swibeco Card, which will be linked to their existing account.
  2. They will then be asked to choose a PIN code and fill in their contact information.
  3. The balance from the old card will be transferred to the new one.
  4. They can manage their card independently using the Swibeco application, which they already use to access the benefits and discounts platform. They can view their PIN code and transactions, and block the card in the event of loss or theft.

Our team at your side throughout the migration.

The closure of the Cornèr account is carried out by us.

We handle the reimbursement of the available funds to the account indicated in appendix 3 of your old contract. Swibeco ensures the setting up of the new YAPEAL account, which is immediate and does not require any due diligence on your part.

The remaining balance on your employees’ old cards will be automatically transferred to their new Swibeco Cards.

There will be no interruption to card usage. The current Lunch Card can still be used while awaiting receipt of the new Swibeco Card.

The Benefits Manager, the centralized interface for employee benefits

All the features you know for managing meal allowances have been integrated into the Benefits Manager. You can now manage this budget in the same place as the benefits platform.

Remember to check that all your employees who receive a meal allowance are listed in the Benefits Manager, under the “Your employees” tab.

How do I log in to Benefits Manager?

Nothing changes for you; your access remains the same. Managing your lunch budgets has been added to your usual features.

We encourage users to spend any remaining credit before the migration. Any remaining balance will be transferred to the new card. We will provide details of this procedure in due course.

After the transition, the old Swibeco Lunch Card app will be deactivated and will no longer be available for use. Users will be able to check their card balance on the Swibeco app they already use for the benefits platform. We encourage those who don’t have it yet to download the Swibeco app now to continue accessing the features associated with the Swibeco Card.

Old cards will be deactivated automatically. Just like a regular bank card, they can simply be cut up and disposed of securely. Employees do not need to take any additional steps.

Yes, all current features will still be available. Additionally, the Benefits Manager has been redesigned to offer an even more user-friendly and intuitive experience. You will also have access to statistics on your employees’ card usage, and you will have greater flexibility in choosing the times at which benefits are distributed.

Yes, the Swibeco Card continues to benefit from the largest acceptance network for meals in Switzerland. It is accepted at over 35,000 restaurants and food businesses across the entire VISA network. If a business that meets these criteria does not accept the meal card, your employees can now notify us directly so that we can add it to the acceptance list. This whitelisting process enables us to update the network dynamically and continuously.
